Key Components of an Electrolyzer
- Stack The heart of the electrolyzer, composed of electrochemical cells where water is split into hydrogen and oxygen using electric current.
- Deionized/Demineralized Water Generator (DM/DI): Produces ultra-pure water by removing ions and contaminants, ensuring performance and longevity.
- AC/DC Rectifier: Converts alternating current from the grid into direct current (DC), necessary to power the stack and initiate the electrochemical reaction.
