General Operating Principle of a “Twin-Agent” System
Twin-agent systems combine two highly effective fire suppression agents dry chemical powder and low-expansion foam to deliver rapid and reliable protection. This solution is particularly well-suited for high-risk environments where immediate response is critical.
Â
How a Twin-Agent System Works
The system deploys two agents in succession, each with a complementary role:
- Extinguishing Powder (Granito type): Instantly discharged onto the flames to knock them down quickly. This first step is crucial for saving lives, preventing fire spread, and minimizing infrastructure damage.
- Low Expansion Foam: Applied immediately after the powder to form an insulating layer. The foam prevents reignition by isolating flammable materials and maintaining a controlled temperature in the affected area.

Advantages
The combined use of powder and foam in our twin-agent systems offers several major benefits:
- Quick and Effective Action: The sequential deployment of both agents allows for immediate flame suppression and area cooling, delivering fast and preventive fire protection.
- Prevention of Reignition: Low-expansion foam creates a tight seal over combustible materials, preventing the fire from reigniting while adding a sustained cooling effect.
- Non-Deterioration of Foam: The use of Granito powder, free of silicone, ensures that the foam applied will not be deteriorated, thus guaranteeing effective and long-lasting protection.
- Adaptability: This solution is ideal for environments where both speed of intervention and continuous suppression performance are critical such as industrial sites, flammable material storage facilities, and high-density combustible environments.
